Miniland, a leader in the educational toy sector for more than 50 years, was awarded Best Toy of the Year 2020 from the Spanish Association of Toy Manufacturers, (AEFJ) on October 22nd for its new line of Miniland Dolls with Down syndrome.

It won the AEFJ, highly coveted “Jury Prize” in a competition that is considered one of the most prestigious in the toy industry both in Spain and internationally.

The jury selected the collection of Miniland Dolls with Down syndrome from among 81 different toys and 24 toy brands. Miniland is thrilled to have achieved this important recognition not least because of its timing which coincides with the current Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

The dolls, which are designed and made in Spain, are incredibly popular the world over and especially in Australia, where parents and children alike have strongly embraced them for their racial diversity and inclusion. The Miniland Dolls with Down syndrome are a new addition to the multicultural range and further the conversation around diversity and acceptance.
